A well inspection evaluates the components and mechanical operation of the well and pumping system to confirm they are working properly.
Home buyers should always have the well inspected before purchasing a property. An inspection can identify concerns with the well pump, pressure tank, controls, water delivery and other visible system components before closing.

Laboratory water testing
Get a full laboratory water analysis for a property with a well. It is commonly needed when ownership is transferring, when a lender or buyer requests it, or when a landlord needs current records for a rental property.
For qualifying New Jersey properties with a private well, the Private Well Testing Act requires water testing before a sale can close. Applicable rental properties must be tested at least every five years, and landlords must provide tenants with the most recent results.
Call 609-203-7917 to request a water analysisWhat the lab checks
Testing is performed through a laboratory and includes a complete well-water analysis for bacteria, nitrates, lead, pH, iron, manganese, volatile organic compounds and other contaminants. Results are compared with the relevant drinking-water standards.
Water results reflect the sample collected on that date. If a result needs attention, we can help you understand the next steps for your well system and water treatment.
Constant-pressure water systems
A variable-frequency drive—also called a constant-pressure controller—automatically changes the well pump’s speed as water demand changes. The result is strong, consistent pressure without the wide pressure swings of a traditional system.
